Me and my obsession has come a long way since last couple of years... I definitely still consider myself a beginner and always looking to improve my obsession. I think it is my "CALGON"... It takes me away from my busy life with a wonderful husband and 8yo twin boys... YIKES!!! I never understood how addicting yarn could be until I started knitting.. I have crochet for some time on and off but I never felt attached to it as I do with knitting...

Hello Kitty Dishcloth Pattern

HELLO KITTY DISHCLOTH

I used a size 8 needle with Peaches n’ Cream cotton yarn. A solid color will definitely show the pattern better. If there are mistakes in the written pattern, please let me know and I will be sure to update the pattern.

I just knitted this and it seems as if some rows are missing for the top of the head. Have you knit this up yet?

"Hello, Kitty" is a copyrighted design. Unless you are paying royalties to the owner of the copyright, you are stealing intellectual property.Even if you are giving it away, it is still stealing. I think it's great to come up with patterns, but it they are not original designs, you should be careful or you might get sued. I apologize for the harshness of the message, but it is true.

I'm not sure that you are completely correct.

I believe that you are fine creating and posting a Hello Kitty inspired pattern, so long as it is for personal "free" use, and you aren't charging for it.

It is if you charge money for the pattern that you can get into trouble.

Hello! I love this pattern. I did notice something on Row 2...is it supposed to be:
R2:P10, P1, K6, P2, K1, P2, K2, P6, K1, P9
Instead of
R2:P10, P1, K6, P2, K1, P2, K2, P6, K1, K9

I believe Stephenie is correct. As long as you are not financially gaining from someone else's copyrighted design, it should be fine. If she was charging for the distribution of the pattern, then she would need to pay royalties.

Did you ever get a reply?? Row 1 is the same way..why not put k20 instead of k10, k10 makes no sense..or fix it..it's written like this throughout the pattern, can someone clarify?
