Knit Diva

Me and my obsession has come a long way since last couple of years... I definitely still consider myself a beginner and always looking to improve my obsession. I think it is my "CALGON"... It takes me away from my busy life with a wonderful husband and 8yo twin boys... YIKES!!! I never understood how addicting yarn could be until I started knitting.. I have crochet for some time on and off but I never felt attached to it as I do with knitting...

Some things I have been working on!!!!!

Well first of all, I have started more projects than I really should have but for some reason I just can't stick to just one project these days...hehe I have all these ideas of patterns I want to try out but I don't know where to start... SO, whatever tickles my fancy that day I work on or start on...LOL!!!!!

I have one more handle to put on my Pepto Pink purse and put the lining in it and then it will be ALL READY for Valentines Day!!!!! YEAH!!! I just love this little purse... It is definitely a keeper for ME!!!!! I have put into consideration that some of these items I should keep for myself instead of giving them away all the time... I think this year is going to be about knitting for ME!!!! After all I do put a lot of hard work into each item I make...What is the point if you can't spoil yourself once in a while...

I have started on my first wristwarmers with this lovely Noro!!! I am so excited about the colorway that I can't see straight... This yarn is kind of mesmerizing... Hypnotic!!!! LOL Love it!!! Love it!!! Love it!!!!

I still have my sweater vest on the needles and my Irish Hiking scarf on the needles but they are kind of waiting for a rainy day...LOL How can you resist when you are working with Noro...hehe

Can you see something different in this picture...LOL YES, DPN's!!!!! I thought I would give them a try since that was on my GOAL 2006 list!!!!! LOL I will have to say that Circ's are so much easier to work with though... But, it is great experience to learn new avenues of knitting...hehe

On another note: My DS went in to the doctor yesterday with an ear infection and a ruptured ear drum... OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Talk about flabergasted and an exhausted night before... Yesterday morning his ear was leaking fluid (For better words) with yucky stuff... I have never seen this happen before... No sign of fever or being sick... He is doing much better and is on a high dose of antibiotic and ear drops... We have to take him back in about 3 weeks to get the ear checked again... We are hoping and praying that there was no hearing loss or damage... The body does miraculous things, so all we can do is pray that it will be OK...

Hope you all have a wonderful Weekend!!!!

Your knitting is fantastic. The Noro yarn is to die for isn't it? And I noticed right away the double points, GOOD FOR YOU.

My son when he was young would get terrible ear infections with NO symptoms. Then all of sudden he'd spike a fever and we would be off to the dr. He has went through what you are facing with both his ears. He is fine today and has no hearing loss. Of course he is 16 now, and has what is called "selective hearing." LOL. You and your son are in my thoughts and prayers.

I forgot to ask you where did you get that purse pattern? It's adorable. Must have, must have. . .
