After effects of a SUGAR HIGH!!!!!!

There is always a SUGAR LOW!!!!! ROFL Don'tcha just love the Holidays???? The boys will be going to school tomorrow...YEAH!!!!!

They are so bored today. The weather is a lot cooler than this weekend. It is definitely a day to lounge around the house and DO NOTHING!!!!!

I wish I could take a nap today. But, I might just work on some squares for my afghan....

Does he look precious or what??? I just wish I could do that right about now....ROFL!!!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

I woke up this morning with my son LOOKING at me.... I asked him, "What is TODAY? My son replied, " Today is EASTER, DUUUUUHHHH!!!!" Don'tcha just LOVE the sarcasim from a 6 year old..... ROFL!!!! I asked, " Did someone come by to visit?" HE RAN OUT of the room to check the livingroom... He proceeded to his room to YELL at his brother to get him up. GET UP BUBBIE, it is EASTER!!!!!

That was my highlight of the morning.... We have a very busy day today... We have 3 family houses to go to today.....ROFL!!!! It is never a quiet holiday!!!! We are traveling most of the day... My FIL lives across the street. My MIL lives about 5 miles away. My sister lives about 7 miles away...ROFL!!!!! At least they were courteous to have it at different times.... I just wish one day I could stay home and relax and enjoy my boys on a holiday.....LOL!!!!

The kids will come home with TONS of stuff and CANDY galore!!!!!! The candy might be dispersed out of the house if there is TOO MUCH!!!! I might donate it to their classes...

Thanks Plumpy for the idea of the FLARP!!!!! The FLARP has been pure entertainment ALL morning!!!!!!!!! I should have bought some for HUBBY!!!!!ROFL!!!!!!!

Dusted off the needles and they are on FIRE!!!!!!

Well, Plumpy and I were the only people at knitting Wednesday. We decided to high tail it out of there and go to the Local knitting shop.... I didn't buy anything but Plumpy bought some Addi's... Their prices are a little high for my blood these days... I can go online and buy it cheaper.

So we headed over to Walmart to do some Easter shopping for the boys... That was a lot of FUN!!!!! We found some new colors from Red Heart... Of course I didn't need anymore yarn....LOL But, I wanted to start on my afghan squares. I bought two skeins to get started. Red Heart is perfect for afghan squares...hehe

I also started on another pair of socks... I just love this Regia color yarn... I am on the heel flap and about to turn the heel... Keep your fingers crossed that I can actually finish a pair and not just one lonely sock....ROFL!!!!

It is going to hit 90 degrees today!!!!! Can you believe it!!!! It is faking SUMMER!!!!! The boys are off until Monday. We plan on spending the day being out in this HOT weather... We still have Easter eggs to dye... Can't wait for that FUN!!!!!

On a sad note: One of my good friends lost her mom this week. She has been battling pancreatic/lung cancer for almost 2 years. It is very sad!!! She was very close to her mother as I am with mine. It is a very troubling time. I know she is in a better place and in no pain. It is just so hard to comprehend when it is your lifeline to this earth. She will be sadly missed.

Here I come Knitty Spring 2006!!!!

Well I have been in a slump with knitting lately and I think the NEW issue of Knitty has sprung some ideas for some NEW projects... The first couple were a little depressing since I don't do colorwork and I thought this issue might be a loss... I began to see the rest and fell in love with quite a few of the patterns....LOL!!!!

I definitely would like to make some of the little kids stuff... The pedi socks are awesome and the tether for babies are cute...

Going to meet Plumpknitter this morning for their book meeting and drop off some books....ROFL!!!! I have ONE more book to read and I will be done with my series... The Mary Janice Davidson UNDEAD series has got me HOOKED!!!! I have to wait a month until the next book comes out but I think I will be OK...

Kerrelyn Sparks NEW book is coming out in 2 weeks. Vamp and the City...hehe

I have lots to contemplate... I want to start a new project and NOW have all these really cute patterns to pick from..

ODD NEWS Check it out!!!!

This poor 6 day old Alpaca is in need to find out its TRUE IDENTITY!!!!

Its momma is suing to find out the paternity to this little cutie!!!!

I guess we are not the only society having issues with paternity testings....

There is also another story on ODD NEWS that states 2 sheep in New Zealand are on the LOOSE... They have put up a FIGHT and went on strike... NO SHEARS ARE COMING CLOSE TO US!!!!!!! ROFL It has been 6 years since their last hair cut...

Do you think we can coax them to give it up. WE ARE IN NEED of some BEAUTIFUL WOOL!!!!!

In knitting NEWS: My needles are dusty...boohoo!!! I haven't picked up the needles in two weeks!!!! Can you believe that!!! I started working on a survey project for my MIL and it will last until the end of next month. I also have been reading my little eyes to tiredness!!!!

Please pray for my needles!!!! They need some loving!!!! After I get my series read I will get back to knitting... 2 more books!!!!
