Easy Washcloths!!!

I have been addicted to making these easy washcloths this summer... They are so easy and quick to get done. I have made quite a few of them for my MIL... I plan on having a BIG stash to give away as stocking stuffers for Christmas...

Knitting Knonsense is one of the websites I get some great ideas from... She has FREE patterns!!! That is the BEST!!!!

The Purple Wash cloth has 3 crosses but you can't see it from the picture.. (What a bummer!!!) She has this pattern on her website.

The wash cloth in the right corner is a pattern called

Chinese Waves Dishcloth .... I LOVE this pattern!!! It is so easy and so fun to do with colorful cotton yarn.. I have done 4or5 dishcloths in different colors. It is great for scrubbing also..

I Finished my Bag!!!!

Well I finally finished my Lopi Tote today and felted it... I was disappointed when I forgot to take a picture of it before it went a spinning... Oh Well!!!! This is the first bag I have made that started from the top to the bottom...

This is the first time that I had to do a 3 needle bind off... Can you tell I am still wet behind the ears...LOL!!!! I guess I am learning as I go..

I think it looks so adorable... My mom told me that I need to give it to her...hehe I might try it out first and give it away...LOL.. Since I now know that it is easy to make, I might just make me one with some different colors and experiment...

We are going on vacation next weekend and I need to have a project to work on when I am laying out at the pool...LOL!!!

Well I guess it is back to reading my Harry Potter Book!!!!hehe

I GOT REAR ENDED TODAY!!!!

It has been raining in the Midwest for over 2 weeks now. I was at a stop and a Mustang came barreling into my hubby's car... YIKES!!! It is my very FIRST accident. It totaled out the Mustang and did some bumper damage to the our car.... He started to stop and started to hydroplane and tried to veer to the right and clipped the right sit of the bumper.

He hit hard enough to make my trunk fly open....grrrrrr I am so thankful that my boys were not in the car at the time and I wasn't in my new Durango.... He would have went under the Durango if I would have had that...

I will be getting some x-rays on my back... I was a little shook up and my back started to hurt when I got home.... The guy tried to just exchange insurance cards and go on... I told him "NO WAY!!!!" It took about 20minutes for the State Patrol to get there to take the report...

I think the guy was a little on the tipsy side too... One minute he told me this was his first accident and the next minute he said that he has had like 4 accidents in the past 5 years.... (what a record...) The trooper let me go and kept the other guy.. I don't know if he got a citation or not...

Well it looks like I will be taking it easy for a couple of days or so... Maybe get caught up on some knitting...

I will take pics tomorrow of the car... It is still drivable.... Thank Goodness!!!

Don't tell MOM the babysitter is DEAD!!!!

Well I have had 5 kids under my wings for a little over a week. I have not had time to pick up the needles or READ!!! what a bummer!!! I need to destress... Where o' where have my little needles gone!!!

I will get some free time when I put them ALL down for a NAP!!!!

I have a couple of WIP's that I could finish if I had a nice hour of quiet time...LOL I will post my wash cloths and my purse when they are finished...

What to do????

Well call me a "dork"...LOL!!! I received my copy of the 6th book of the Series of Harry Potter this morning. I was going to be one of those people waiting at the store at 12:01am this morning to pick it up but opted out of that...LOL I didn't have a problem 2 years ago buying the 5th book so I waited until this morning...

I am torn between my WIP and reading my NEW book... I am not good at multitasking. I can watch T.V. and knit at the same time but trying to do those tasks and talk on the phone is a challenge...LOL

I am working on the Lopi Tote as of right now. I think I am going to make it a multi-colored bag. It has went fast!!! I might have to make up a couple of these...hehe It is definitely a break from making washcloths... I have been doing small projects to keep me from getting anxious on another project.

I will probably start making some scarves and some ponchos pretty soon to get a head start on the fall... It is so darn HOT right now that it is hard to get into the mood...

Well, I am kidless as of NOW!!! Going out!!! YEAH!!!

Virgin Blogger

Well.... I have finally joined in with the rest of the world. I read so many blogs that I thought maybe I should take a stab at this blogging. I enjoy reading about others so much that I thought it couldn't be that HARD....hehe Needless to say, it has taken me a couple of weeks to figure things out....LOL!!! Call me a Blonde I guess...hehe

I guess you all know by the name of the blog that I am a knitter... By NO means am I an expert at knitting.. I have been knitting now for a little over a year. It feels so natural that I feel like I have been doing it my WHOLE life...

I have dabbled in a lot of projects but some that I want to do are overwhelming to me... My goal is to knit a sweater and socks...

I have many projects that are on needles as I write this. I will share all my WIP's soon!!!

Getting over the fear of typing to the big bad world is a BIG accomplishment... Bare with me on posts and pictures until I get the hang of this...
